The grill mat can prevents fat from falling

The hubby and I are vegetarians but just because we don't eat meat doesn't mean we don't like a good cookout on the grill. You get two grill mats and they are trimmed depending on the size of your grill. They do not give off that "plastic" taste to your food either, even when grilling over high heat on a direct fire! I've tried some mats before and had to throw the food away. I was afraid it would make us sick and after the first smell, we had to throw the whole mess away.

These grill mats can actually produce grill marks and withstand the heat too. The instructions tell you that the grill mat performs best when temperatures are kept at or below 500 degrees F and kept 5-7 inches from constant contact with flames (can withstand occasional flare-ups!) Our veggies turn out amazing and clean up is a breeze because any remaining bits just wipe away. I guess you could call, or compare these to the more expensive "Silpat" mats you see costing twice as much or more. There's no reason you can't use these for baking too.

If you are using a marinade like we often do with veggies we just curl up some aluminum foil around the sides to keep the juices from dripping and causing flare ups. Usually your grill will tend to only drip down to one side anyway, so it's no problem catching it for us. These grill mats are a good value and when properly cared for (cleaning after use and not using a scrub brush or harsh cleaner (which may harm the coating) they will last for many seasons. Great buy!

These grill mats have eliminated the most annoying part of grilling--cleaning the grate. I resisted buying a grill mat because I assumed it wouldn't be different from putting aluminum foil on the grill surface, but was wrong. These mats don't hold the heat, so instead of the whole surface becoming the same temperature (like putting a frying pan on the grill) there is still the hot spots directly over the grate and comparatively cool spots between the grates, meaning I still get grill marks even though the foot isn't really touching the grill. The grill mat also prevents fat from falling onto the coals and causing a flame-up. On the downside, that can mean that really fatty or watery foods sit in their juice while cooking which can hamper grill mark formation. Tilting the grill slightly causes the juice to run off the side where flame ups are less of a problem. Cleanup is a breeze and the food doesn't stick without having to add more oil. It's also great with smaller foods like vegetables which otherwise need to be done in a pan on top of the grill.

These are great! I made shrimp the other night on the mat and not only did I not lose any in the BBQ but the mat held the marinated and kept the shrimp moist (sort of sautéed them). Delicious! Also easy to clean! I never leave reviews.....BUT, these mats are wonderful!! Over the years we have used mesh, screens, grill pans, etc. My husband loves the mats!! Love it! I use it every time I fire the grill up. I had a cookout recently and everyone and now they want one too! Have used this mat a few dozen times now and it is still holding up as well as the first time I used it. Fast delivery and product has performed better than I had anticipated. YRYM HT Grill Mat makes clean up a breeze

I absolutely love YRYM HT grill mats. Clean up is a breeze and most importantly the food we have cooked on these grill mats has turned out perfect. Will be using these mats from now . My husband usually grills two days a week. Yup, all year long! We've had these about a month and are very happy with them. Clean up is so much easier than the metal grill sheet we used to use.I would highly recommend the grill mat to anyone who likes grilling, it is a must have item. You don't know what you are missing, I will be buying more. I really don't want to grill without grill mat now that I have tried one. Have used these on 3 separate grills now, (Weber Summit, Sunbeam gas kettle, Coleman portable) and the grill mat works great! Grill marks come through, virtually no sticking, and reduced flare-ups. I've used them for bacon, burgers, steak, chicken, and pork tenderloin. Great item, I'll be getting some more! Call me skeptical, but I got other silicone mats from other vendors and they all seemed to suffer from the same problem: An inability to be cleaned after use. Not to mention their heat tolerance was bad. Well, not THESE grill mats. These grill mats do exactly what they say they do, and they do it very well. I do have to admit that reading and following directions probably helped a great deal in this regard.

These grill mat tells you to keep the temps below 500, and so I turned the heat down somewhat on the grill, which meant it took about 5 minutes longer to cook things on these mats than on others. But the tradeoff is worth it. The grill mats are actually non-stick, and they clean up with soap and water without a problem in the world. I have a couple of qualifiers. I have not used a marinade, nor have I cooked anything with any real sugar in it on the grill (e.g., BBQ sauce). I suspect these would be more difficult to clean off. But I can add BBQ sauce on the plate, so no worries there. When I took these off I had cooked 12 chicken thighs. I waited for it to cool, dropped it into warm soapy dishwater, and used a cloth to wipe them clean. No scrubbing required. I also took care to use silicone utensils as the instructions suggest.I would strongly recommend these mats to anyone who doesn't enjoy cleaning a grill every time you use it. These grill mats work, they work well, they clean up easily, and the company seems very interested in how you like the product. So buy these with confidence. The company stands behind them.

Fantastic product!! Love these grill mats! I was looking for cookie sheets to cook appetizers on my barbecue when "glamping" at our private campsite. These mats came up in my online search, so I have them a try. I am using them for far more than appetizers! This past weekend, we cooked salmon, burgers, sausage patties, buns, sweet potato slices, asparagus and grilled peaches on these mats and everything came out perfect and our grill is still clean. The buns and burgers even had the grill marks on them. My girlfriend who was camping with me is going to buy the same mats for her barbecue. They are very easy to clean and store. I just purchased another set of 3 mats for our home barbecue. I highly recommend these mats. They did not disappoint! My husband loves this for delicate fish, stuffed mushrooms, eggs. Grill mat keeps the meat from sticking to the grill

Bought the Grill Mat especially for grilling fish. Finally had a chance to use tonight for salmon fillets. I am very pleased with the results, Salmon was perfectly cooked and absolutely no sticking. Actually had to use another utensil to stop the fillet from sliding off when putting the spatula underneath to remove from the grill. Will definitely buy again when the time to replace these sheets comes!  Love these mats!! They fit my grill and are so easy to use. I have shown them to all of my friends!! Clean up is a breeze, even with stick hot honey BBQ and you even get the grill marks!! Will definitely order from YRYM HT again!! Works great. For it as a gift for my brother in law and he loves it. Impressed with how well it worked. Have used the grill mat for cooking Salmon and Vegetables on grill. As advertised. Grilled turkey burgers on this mat and they came out great. Mats do EXACTLY what they are described to do. Opened the mats up and put them immediately to use. Grill marks as described. Even grilled craw fish, salmon, and scallops with it. Does the job! Used these for the first time last night and they performed magnificently on the gas grill. I was pleasantly surprised at the heat transfer. I expected some knockdown of the heat, but the mats did not interfere at all. Clean up of the mats was a breeze and my grill will stay much cleaner using the mats. I love these things! Its paper thin but works wonderfully on the grill. Love that the grill marks show and you need to use zero oil! Awesome. I would not used for burgers because the burger grease will hit anyone near the grill, but great for peppers and etc. I put it in the oven to crisp my pre-cooked bacon. Did the job well, however, because the sheet is so thin that with 450 degree heat oven, it looked kinda melted, wobbled on the edge.

I bought a new grill and want to keep it new looking, so I bought YRYM HT grill mat and it works perfectly... they're inexpensive and easy to wash, and you get five to a package which pretty much should last you from May until September. Highly recommended. I used to use the black grill mat, I find these copper grill mats hold the heat, grill marks well and clean easily. Highly recommend this product. These things are so handy! I wanted them mostly to cool cookies on and they work perfect! Also heavy duty and easy to clean.These were the Best Price and I use them daily ever since they came out, they go on the grill and I use them in the oven for just about everything I cook. What's the difference between this grill mat, the Miracle and Yoshi mats? The Telflon grill mat is heavier and lasts longer and handles higher temps. Awesome product. Will purchase again. Have recommend to friends. These grill mats are for real. They leave grill marks just like on your grates, it eliminates the mess all over your grill, you can cook small items without them falling through the grill grates, its non-stick, so you don't loose any meat that sticks to the grates and its super easy to clean. I can't believe I didn't know about these wonderful but simple mats in all my years of grilling. I don't think I will ever grill without them from now on!

ALL of the dozens of Teflon coated fiberglass mats listed on Amazon are 500 degree F-continuous 600 F-flash rated no matter what the seller claims. while color may vary the two sided Teflon coating is always the same quality, only the fiberglass thickness (the Teflon is sprayed and baked on) varies so it can bare more weight (tensile strength) which is meaningless on such small mats typically holding up just a single layer of food items. this sort of material is used on constantly running food production long run distance conveyor belts which is where a thicker material matters copper grill mat, and marketing them as home oven bottom liners and Barbecue grill mats.

Honestly, I can't say what the differences are as this is the only mat of this type that I have used. I have been well pleased with my mat though!

Grill Mat makes grilling easy and clean

The grill mat works great on the grill. Easy to clean and keeps the grill clean. These black ones are so much better than the copper colored ones. Love the YRYM HT BBQ mats, they are a good size, cook well and keep my grill clean. Very good quality! I just wash it and re-use it each time. I have washed and re-used it about 4 times now and it is just as good as new. Love these grill mats and excellent customer support. Had mine for about 6 months now and still using the first side of the first mat. I like them so much I have purchased other sets as gifts and recommended them to many friends. I was skeptical at first but was very encouraged by the reviews. So I bought the grill mat. Man do I love these. They cook extremely well and help to keep the grill clean. Heat transfer is perfect and you even get the grill marks on the meat. I have purchased more grill mats for my home grill as well. Very easy to trim to shape. Very easy to clean. Just put them in some soapy water, wipe and dry. that's it. Used these for the first time tonight for our kebabs. Everything cooked so evenly and didn't dry out. Can't wait to try more things! Also, love the customer service. They followed up to make sure everything was satisfactory and I love that :) So far, I've only used it to grill chicken and it worked perfectly. Still got the sear lines through the mats, and the best part is that for the first time ever I grilled chicken that didn't stick to the grates. Clean up was a breeze. We'll be using these a lot this summer! We really like these, but they are hard to clean. If you have very juicy/greasy food, the grease can pool up on these. But it saves us from cleaning the grill when we want to make it a quick evening meal.

These grill mats are great because you can take them off and wash them which saves me a lot of time! I had problems on my gas grill with flames shooting up on my ribeye steak and the steak drying out. Now, thankfully, the juices are retained with the grill mat. A small secret to share.....coat your steak with corn starch (do not skimp) and sprinkle with kosher salt, and place on grill mat. You will be in for a treat. These work great! Fast shipping, and the 2 included mats fit perfectly on my grill, with a little spacing around the edges. Washed them and put them on the grill after drying them. Fired up the grill, cooked some kebabs and hobo pies, and had grill marks and singes all around. Quick clean up afterwards - great product!

These mats are amazing. They provide a very easy way to cook and avoid flare ups. A couple of things to be aware of, the grease from the food does puddle around the food and when turning just move the food around to avoid the grease. Then push the grease off the mat. The biggest thing is the grill flavor, it does not have this. The flavor of the grill is from the grease hitting the flavor bars and this does not happen with the mats. Trade offs but the mats work very well as advertised. I was skeptical about its durability and ability to hold up to high heat, but I was proven wrong: the mat works exactly as advertised transferring the heat to the food without degrading or warping. Grill marks appear on food as though it was directly on the grate. And, it cleans up like a breeze (either wipe down or put in dishwasher). We are finding these mats much easier and more convenient to use than metal fish/veggie grillers and am very happy we purchased them. We have recommended these to mats to friends and family.

Butcher paper is perfect for wraping meat

This past year, I've really got into smoking and grilling. I used a lot of foil and it worked great, but once I found this butcher paper, the game changed drastically. Foil is gone from my smoker completely and I wrap all my stuff in this. It seems to do a better job and not only keeping the marinade and seasoning close to the meat but it creates a better bark on a lot of meats. Not only well worth the money but also plan on keeping this in my household till I give up making brisket, ribs, pork butts or anything else that finds its way into my smoker! MUST BUY!  Excellent strong paper, good for dozens of uses: I used it for shelf paper! It really shines, however, when used for freezing anything at all; properly wrapped, your meat/bread/nuts/whatever will be fresh indefinitely. I absolutely have read from a professional butcher that he carefully wrapped his meat and ate it six years later, and it was perfect. I have found this to be true.

Butcher paper is perfect for this kind of smoking!! It allows you to wrap the brisket or whatever meats your smoking when you have achieved your bark color, then wrap to finish the cook without drying the meat out. I love that it is also an American co. and keeping Americans working!  Butcher paper for slow-smoking meats is all the rage now. If you skip all the hype ads that promote paper specifically for wrapping meats to finish on the BBQ pit,you get this. The same paper at a much, much better price. We have friends who have used this butcher paper and their meats come out delicious! I bought this for my husband and he can’t wait to try it out. Used first time to finish smoking a large pork shoulder roast and happy with result. Kept roast moist but not soaking in liquid as happens when using foil. Would like to see wider roll as 18" is a little small for wrapping large roasts such as brisket. 

My recipe called for wrapping my cake pan in paper before baking. Yeah, nervous Nelly was I. And yes, oven temp was low but still..... paper baking in an oven for a few hours. Anyway, it worked great. Since it is such a big roll I'm going to shred some to use for Christmas bag filling. Great stuff! Heavy duty quality. I use it for smoking brisket, and my kids use it for making boats, planes, and a huge mess in my living room. Better than what is available locally and much cheaper. Thanks!

Was looking to buy red butcher paper to wrap a brisket. Bought this one by mistake. When it came in, it seem like it was just regular brown paper but turned out to be a gem. Worked just as great as the red butcher paper. Would recommend this to anyone looking to wrap anything and throw it on the smoker. Did not burn or tear. I use this paper for wrapping meat. Because I'm cautious about freezing any food in plastic, I first wrap the steaks, chicken etc. in this unbleached, uncoated paper and then wrap with coated freezer paper for a better seal. I highly recommend this product :) This is a great product, and worked great for my brisket I cooked on my BBQ grill. I had always used foil, but I will be using this in the future ! Just as described and arrived quickly. Great quality butcher paper. We run a small farm and butcher our animals. Paper was great for packaging, allowing meat to breath while keeping bacteria out. Easily mounts on our paper dispenser for easy access and use. Will definitely order again.
