How to grill chicken paws

There is nothing better than eating grilled food and drinking beer outdoor with three or five friends at summer evening. What a pleasant thing! Every time I gather with my friends, I will order barbecue chicken paws. It’s so delicious that I miss so much.

Are there any guys who like to eat barbecue chicken paws?  I am here to teach you how to grill chicken paws.

Ingredients:
8 chicken paws
15 g edible oil
5 g monosodium glutamate
10 g cumin powder
kosher Chili powder
Barbecue sauce
a little salt
kosher Pepper
10 ml Soy sauce
kosher Fragrant leaves
Cinnamon
15 light soy sauce

Directions:

1. Wash the chicken feet with water and remove the chicken nails with kitchen scissors. Soaking the chicken paws in water can make the chicken paws become more white and bigger.
2. Transfer the cleaned chicken paws into a pressure cooker and add water submerge the chicken paws. Then add salt, monosodium glutamate, pepper, soy sauce, fragrant leaves, cinnamon, soy sauce.
3. Boil the water over large fire and seal. Cook for a ten-minute over a low heat.
4. Take out the chicken paws and cool down. Thread chicken paws into metal skewers. Each skewer can be threaded with 2 chicken paws. if you use wooden or bamboo skewers, it is suggested to soak them in water for at least 12 hours. It is best to thread chicken paws from its bone as it is easy to fall off when grilling.
5. Preheat the grill over medium-high heat. It is advised you place a piece of Telfon grill mat which you can buy from Amazon seller YRYM HT on the grate. The grill mat can prevent from sticking and easy to clean.
6.Transfer the skewed chicken paws to the grill. Remember to brush a little oil before you start, which can avoid seared black.
6. Flip occasionally. Once the paws become dry, brush a little oil. It usually takes about 10-12 minutes for chicken paws cooked well with yellow brown skin.
7. Whisk barbecue sauce and cumin powder when it is almost down.
8. Transfer to a plate and cook down for a few minute.

customer reviews of using YRYM HT grill mat

I've used the YRYM HT grill mat for grilling chicken, which has constantly gotten sooty before on direct heat. The grill mat allowed the skin to crisp, without letting the grease reach the burners and flare. I do this after cooking the pieces on indirect, so the amount of grease the mats had to hold was not too much. If you are doing something fatty for a longer time, you will need to use paper towels to dab up excess grease, else it will go over the side and cause flares.

I received the YRYM HT  grill mats package which was well Packaged and arrived in perfect condition by the promised delivery date. Very good value. The first time that I used the grill mat, I prepared grill peppers, onions, and mushrooms sautéed in olive oil. The veggies were perfect and clean-up was a breeze. Previously I used steel trays and sprayed them with Pam... no amount of scrubbing gets them completely clean.. Highly recommend the Grill Mat.

So far, so good. I've used these grilling mats upon recommendation from a friend who raved about them. I have to agree that this is the way to go. Just remember to wipe the mats with a paper towel right after taking your food off. Otherwise, if you let the mats cool with the grease and burnt crud you will have to put in some elbow grease to scrub these long and hard under hot water in the sink.  I have to teach the wife how to do this. ;)  You can buy best Grill tools at YRYM HT.

Anyway, if you do have to scrub them under the sink you will find that little pieces of crud are sticking hard to the surface and you will have to use your fingernail along with the scrubbing sponge and detergent to remove them. I am finding that the surface of the mats quickly give rise to little places where I believe these hard crud deposits were after I removed them. I will be waiting to see how long these mats last and for how many uses before or if they will lose their effect. All I can say is this is what you should have it you grille to eliminate the mess you would have to clean up underneath the grille in the drip pan afterward and the scraping and cleaning of the grille itself. It just saves you lots of time. Now I wish I hadn't bought the new grille brush before I bought these mats.

May 9th, 2017 Update: It's time to retire these to the trash heap. The edges have long ago started to shred and now I am finding cuts and holes in various places. I will not be buying any more of these but will now be trying out something different. I found 'Tamontina Reversible Grill Gridle'. One side is smooth for pancakes and such and the other has the grooves for letting the grease flow from steaks and burgers. What caught my eye was these are cast aluminum with a titanium reinforced PFGA free nonstick coating. Touting superior heat retention and distribution. A nice touch is the corner that is depressed to catch grease. Another corner has finger holds to carry the griddle or I am thinking to use to hang up somewhere when not in use. I will do a search here on Amazon and see if I can find these also as I have not yet done so. I'm hoping the cleaning will be a lot less work than these YRYM HT grill mats. There's always something better someone comes along with. :) Check out the grill mat pics now!

grill mat can be used to prevent sticking

The grill mat itself gets very hot naturally. You don't see the grill flames as the mat covers it. So I really don't know it would say don't ho near the flames. There is no flare up. Sorry I can't provide a better answer.  Not quite sure, but maybe it means directly near flame. Mine works great on the grates of the grill and does everything I hoped it would do.  It does not say that, and it is common sense not to put it directly on any flame.  I don't know but I don't let the flame touch the mat. I let the flame go down and then I put the mat on the grill.  I think it means not to put it directly in the fire. It goes on the grates.  One starts cooking when flame is down and the mat prevents grease from causing a flame up.

Is this supposed to come in a package? I just got 2 loose sheets in an Amazon shipping box, so I have to look online for care instructions. I received instructions with mine. I can't remember if it was in an enclosed plastic wrap.  It sounds like you may have received a knock of version rather than actual Grillaholics product. All of our Grillaholics grill mat come in the package shown in the picture. If your order was not from DSquared International LLC or Amazon Warehouse Deals, you likely received a knock off product. If you order was from DSquared International LLC, then there was an issue with your order as Amazon should not send them out that way. Either way, please send us a message through the Amazon messaging system with your order information so we can help you get things sorted out.

Ours came in low profile cardboard packaging. It should definitely have some sort of 'wrap'. Care is easy though, mild soap and hot water. Good luck!  It should be a little white card in the package where you take out the two loose sheets with the instructions for how to care for it but make sure you WASH it with warm water with a little bit of soap before you use it. I hope I answered your question...  how many times can i use the grill mat before i throw it away. I have used mine well over 30-40 times so far and hasn’t effected it any as far as I can tell. grill tools I wash it and watch that the heat doesn’t get to high and cook whatever needs to be.  why does it say not to get near flame on grill? I don't see where it states that in the Description or the Features & Details. I would suppose it simply means do not place directly on an open flame .

Can you use these on a flat top grill??? I’m using the grill mat on a Traeger grill and I’m not sure what you mean by “flat top”  . I have washed the mats many times with soap and water .Still I get a black coating on my hands and food. Why. Have no problem with black coming off the mats..even put them in the dishwasher...absolutely love them..never have to clean my grill..mats are always clean ..no bits left on from cooking with them..  I have no problem with mine, they are great! Yet I do know the source of your black coating: it comes from grease that is residual. The grease is flaming up and the smoke from it is black, and if that is not the source of your black coating, then I am thinking it is coming from burning aluminum. I really hope this is not the case, burning aluminum is toxic. Remove all aluminum foil, clean the grease from your grill, and see if it clears up, i hope it does. I really do love my mats!

YRYM HT grill mat is completely non-toxic

Question : Is this YRYM HT grill mat completely non-toxic?
Answer: The PTFE (Teflon) this product is made from is inert if ingested and will pass out of the body. However, when heated to high temps, it gives off a gas which is extremely toxic. Polytetrafluoroethylene is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene that has numerous applications. The best known brand name of PTFE-based formulas is Teflon by Chemours.  I am confused. I just bought one. You say it can only take 500 degrees. But most grills say you should preheat a grill to 550 before starting to cook. So how can I even begin to use this product? I use tinfoil without any problems .

The product description says its PFOA- and PTFE-free.and when I looked that up on the web it said that is considered non toxic .I'm not a chemist however, the mat is completely undamaged after several uses. I feel if it were exposed to higher heat than recommended, it might deteriorate.  I have not seen any issues with the grill mat. I did some research and the material is the same Teflon type material in no stick pans. They work great. Get a little messy as the grease does not roll off the mats but you just push to the side of the mat when you turn the food. I use them every time I grill now.  to the best of my knowledge .

So much so, that an overheated pan in the kitchen has been known to kill pet birds within minutes. It can also cause a respiratory syndrome in humans called "Teflon flu".
Since this product is designed to be used over open fire, grill tools where the temps are very difficult to control or measure, I would not consider it a safe product in any way.
"PFCs have been found in nearly all Americans tested by federal public health officials. Chemicals from this family are associated with smaller birth weight and size in newborn babies, elevated cholesterol, abnormal thyroid hormone levels, liver inflammation and weakened immune defense against disease.
Environmental hazards: Manufacturing PFCs and the consumer products that contain them poses great risks to the environment and wildlife.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says PFCs present "persistence, bioaccumulation, and toxicity properties to an extraordinary degree."
If you want to cook on a smooth surface, why would you grill in the first place?
Or if you do, why not use a metal pan or griddle of some sort?
Grilling on a piece of plastic makes no sense to me.

Question: Is it manufactured in the usa or where is it mafe
Answer: Most of grill mats are manufactured in China. I purchased two copper grill mats recently, these are made in China too but they are better than all black mats, I recommend you have a try, it is really wonderful! I love BBQ! Grillaholics Grill Mat is manufactured in China.

grill mat from YRYM HT clean up easily

Absolutely essential when cooking vegetables or seafood on the grill. Just used one of these for a Labor Day barbecue and it worked great. Work great grilling fish and shrimp! Remember not to use these over 500 degrees. Long lasting- Ive ha these for months. I like these grill mats very much, but I am using them to line the bottom of my oven and it protects against any drippage from any overflow baking. I wish I had bought these years ago! Mats are as advertised. They are fairly sturdy and reusable. They cool down and clean up quickly. Good for fish and things that fall apart easily. Does not leave grill mark's and looses some charcoal flavor. These make using the BBQ. To grill vegetables easy easy to clean.

Great value! They work well, cook evenly, and clean up easily. With six, grill mat I was able to give a couple away and still have plenty. These work great and are easy to clean and store 5 Star would buy again. I honestly haven't use it for cooking but it works well for protecting my firing module for sparks. These mats are the greatest for cooking fish. I love how they cook so evenly! Veggies cook up great also! They do cook meat, on the grill as claimed. The fabric tears very easily and I found this out by just doing regular cleanup. Full discloaure: my grill gets upwards of 400F degrees. Caught on fire! Flames were shooting 2-3’ above grill. Used these all summer. It makes grill cleanup so much easier.

These are wonderful for the grill! I do a lot of roasted veggies and this mat is the perfect way to have them on the grill. Washes up in a flash. Perfect to grill veggies on! I always lost a few asparagus’s in my time and just glad I can grill other veggies with ease. Not at all as suggested in the name or description. These "grill mats" melted and stuck to my chicken on the FIRST use. The box says to use low to medium heat only (not listed on the page before buying), and the mats fused to the chicken when the gas grill was set low. grill tools I do not recommend these for anyone planning to grill on them, which is their primary use.

The first time we used these, they melted on the grill. They melted onto our food and we had to throw away all our food because the mats melted onto it. Horrible product. We have had other brand grill mats in the past and never had this issue.  Great product. super easy to clean (see the video ) It will allow you to grill small food without falling between the grill. is a non stick surface. I prepared garlic bread and chopped onion in a heartbeat.

Stove Burner Covers can be used on glass top gas stoves

Is it thicker than others? It's as thin as,a sheet n very durable.  It’s super thick. Way thicker than any of the aluminum ones.  Do these come in round white? No, these come in square black and you can cut & customize as you want. Thanks for your question.  Can this be used for an LG stove?  I have Adora stove and I did little cut these covers.  Is there a safe way to stick these to the stovetop (or each other) so they don't slide out of place? Yes, as long as your stove is flat, they will not slide out of place. Thanks for your question.  grill tools Wouldn't it just make more sense to clean your cooktop after each spill before the mess gets baked on? But it would be way easy if u can take it off to the sink to clean .

Has anyone tired these with ge pgb 911 gas stove? I have no idea what that model is but these covers work and can be cut to fit.  I used them on a Maytag gas counter top. Just needed to cut out for orifice a little larger.  They should be able to just measure and cut around the middle hole so it doesn’t get in the way of the burner or there could be a fire hazard.  Do not buy them, they caught fire on the second use.  Yes they just need to be trimmed . Are these good for viking stoves? Yes, these are good for viking stoves. If you are worried about the size problem, the stove covers are cuttable to fit perfectly. I have a Samsung with a grill burner in the middle and they didn’t work for me because I had to piece them to fit and when a spill over happened it just went under everything.

It looks very thin like sheet, will it get caught fire when it works? It’s very thin. I didn’t cut mine down enough and it didn’t catch on fire but it turned it a silver white color. It says they are fire proof and I believe it since I don’t cut two down enough. grill mat The color changed but nothing more.  No mine didnt, and it isnt very thick but works great you may have to cut it to correct size to fit and around the pilot light . I havent had any issues, although I trimmed it back, so that the flame would not hit the liner.  It hasn't burnt yet, and I haven't had to change them either. I had to cut them a little bit to fit, but all is well.  Are you happy with these? Yes!!! They are great. I cook every day and I bought them in February and they have lasted me.  are these ok to use with a Wolf range?

Can these Stove Burner Covers be used on glass top gas stoves? That's a good question. I don't have one, but I have cut these to fit our conventional enameled gas stove. From some pictures I've looked at online, I would say "yes", but keep in mind that you're just using this material to cover the drop tray around the burner. They have their pros and cons. I don't believe that the type of material the stove top is made of (glass or enamel) will matter since this will not be on that surface. I hope this helps.
